Website Terms

1. Website operator

This website presents the Ambient Sustainable Living brand. Its footer identifies ASL Pty Ltd (ABN 71 693 209 068). The WA public builder register separately lists Ambient Sustainable Living Pty Ltd as Building Contractor BC106610. The proposal and signed agreement must identify the exact legal entity for an engagement.

2. General information only

Website content is general information and is not legal, engineering, financial, building-approval or project-specific advice. Seek appropriately qualified advice for your circumstances.

3. Enquiries are not agreements

Submitting a form, booking a consultation, receiving an estimate or discussing a project does not create a consultancy, supply or building contract. Work begins only under a written agreement signed by the relevant parties.

4. Project-specific scope and outcomes

Prices, programmes, savings, energy performance, inclusions, warranties and automation outcomes depend on the site, design, engineering, approvals, supplier availability and signed scope. Only the written proposal or contract for a project states the binding scope, price, timing and responsibilities.

5. Owner-builder pathway

Owner Builder WA is presented as a private service associated with ASL and is not affiliated with the Western Australian Government. The engagement documents must identify the legal service provider. Where an owner-builder pathway is used, the owner retains the statutory responsibilities applying to an owner-builder unless the law provides otherwise.

6. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, website text, branding, graphics and original materials are owned by or licensed to ASL. They may not be reproduced commercially without permission. Third-party marks remain the property of their owners.

7. Third-party links

Links to government, supplier, CRM, mapping or other third-party services are provided for convenience. ASL does not control their availability, content or privacy practices.

8. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing on this website excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.

9. Website availability and liability

We take reasonable care with website content but do not promise uninterrupted access or that every item is complete or current. To the extent permitted by law, liability arising solely from use of this website is limited to the remedies required by law.

10. Privacy

Use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law and contact

These website terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. Questions may be sent to info@aslwa.com.au.
